The Trabzon City Tour begins at 09:00 AM. You will be picked up from your hotel or a designated meeting point and invited to explore the charm of this Black Sea city.
Our first stop is the Atatürk Mansion, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed during his visits to Trabzon. With a guided tour, we explore the mansion’s historic interiors and period furnishings, then continue to the Trabzon Botanical Garden. As the first and only botanical garden in the Black Sea Region, this 103-acre park is a favorite for nature lovers with its diverse plant life and peaceful walking trails.
After our break at the Botanical Garden, we head toward the historic center. On the way, we enjoy panoramic views of Trabzon Castle, Gülbahar Hatun Mosque, Zağnos Valley, and Ortahisar District while your guide shares insights about these landmarks.
Next, we visit the Trabzon Museum (Kostaki Mansion). This beautifully preserved 19th-century building features rooms where Atatürk once stayed, along with archaeological and ethnographic collections that reflect the cultural memory of Trabzon.
Following the museum, we take a short walking tour through the heart of the city — Kunduracılar Street, Semerciler Bazaar, and Kemeraltı Market. This area is ideal for browsing local shops and experiencing Trabzon’s social and commercial life.
Our next stop is Sera Lake Nature Park, a peaceful retreat where you can take photos and relax by the lakeside. We then enjoy a regional lunch at a local restaurant known for its Black Sea cuisine.
After lunch, we visit the Hagia Sophia Mosque, originally built during the Byzantine era and renowned for its historic frescoes. Finally, we head to Boztepe Viewpoint, where you can take in breathtaking city views from three glass terraces along a 1.2 km walking path.
At the end of this memorable day, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the starting point. The Trabzon City Tour is the perfect blend of history, culture, nature, and local life. We look forward to seeing you again on another journey.
