Day 1- Reception in Trabzon, Fırtına Valley, Şenyuva, Palovit Waterfall and Ayder Plateau Visits
Depending on your meeting preference, we are greeted by our guide in the morning and start our tour by moving to Ayder Plateau. After a short breakfast break on the road according to your desire, we'll follow the coast road up to Ardeşen, then we go up the Storm Valley, which is one of the 200 ecological regions in the world that needs to be protected. After visiting Şenyuva Village and Zilkale, we visit Palovit waterfalls and historical Şenyuva Bridge which is the most famous historical stone arch bridges of Rize. After taking a lunch break at a local restaurant in Çamlıhemşin, we arrive at Ayder Plateau. You have some free time after the panoramic trip in the plateau with our vehicle. You may go for a pleasant walk during your time there. You can sip on your tea or coffee across the Gelintülü waterfall. You can watch the horon players accompanied by the sound of bagpipes coming from almost all of the corners or if you desire, you can join. We meet in our vehicle after sightseeing and free time and we leave Ayder Plateau. We stop at the Rize Cloth Factory Store on the way and visit the traditional weaving workshop and the sales department. At the end of the day we arrive in Trabzon after check-in hotel give you free time until tomorrow's departure.
Day 2- Sumela Monastery, Zigana, Karaca Cave and Hamsiköy Visits
After breakfast, we check-out from hotel and move to Altindere National Park and start today's tour. We give our first break at the National Park Social facilities which is 50 km away from Trabzon and 1000m above sea level. The impressive view of Sumela, built on the steep hillside of Black Mountain rising from the valley, we continue our journey through the valley after the time spent in the magnificent natural beauty of the surrounding National Park and the tranquil tone of Altındere (The Virgin Mary River). Although we can't take a full tour inside the monastery due to the restoration, we take a tour at the parts we can travel, and we get fascinated by the beauty of Sumela. We will take a souvenir photo from the View Point in front of the unique view of both the monastery and the valley. We leave the National Park and move to the Historical Zigana Pass. After having a lunch break in a local restaurant on the road, we pass through Zigana Tunnel and we arrive at Karaca Cave located in Gümüşhane province. After visiting Karaca Cave which is an art gallery with stalactites, stalagmites and travertines, we go to Torul Skywalk Terrace and then we move to Hamsiköy. Hamsiköy, which is an important stopover point of the historical (old) Zigana Road, fascinates visitors with its natural beauty and famous rice pudding. At the end of the day, we arrive in Trabzon. We arrange your transfers according to your choice of airport and we wish to meet you on another trip.
